3 Jan 2005 - Secure Information Exchange Platform (I-XP)
Chi Storm recently collaborated with several other companies in order to develop a Secure Information eXchange Platform. It was realised that there was a need for a secure method for businesses to transfer large amounts of information throughout and beyond the enterprise. Traditional exchanges limited many companies in the following key ways:
Lack of Security
Slow
Can't handle traffic volume
Difficult to set up
Expensive to establish
Don't adapt well to changing environments
The I-XP is designed to meet the local and global file exchange needs of large and small enterprises. It allows anyone in the business to eXchange files of any size securely with anyone else in the world.
Chi Storm developed and integrated the user interface allowing users to use a standard web browser with a secure page to upload data and then specify the e-mail address of the recipient of the file. The recipient then receives an e-mail and uses a unique web address to securely download the data.
The project so far has seen one I-XP being implemented within a high profile organisation. Chi Storm remains a key player in the development of I-XP as it continues to evolve.
